Well! Four days late, and I finally notice that my Expedition Letters story got a DD! I can't thank you all enough for the boost in spirit this has given me, and for all the kind comments I've received! I'll see if I can reply to a few of them, but just in case I don't, here's a big general shout-out to everyone! I am incredibly grateful.

So here I am, minding my own business and hanging out with friends all day. I get home, decide to check dA, and am blindsided by over 200 feedback messages...

Wait, what?

Holy cow, I did not see this coming at all! I'm still reeling - in a good way - from the shock of suddenly realizing that my little "Library Plot" story got a Daily. And now I'm just trying to wade through all the feedback I've gotten.

Needless to say, I'm pleased as punch.

My sincere thanks go out to each and everyone one of you who has commented, favorited and glanced over at my other works. You guys really know how to rekindle a writer's spirit right before he goes back to college for the fall! This is such a pleasant surprise, and I'm glad I caught it before it got too late!

Right. Gotta post more stuff up here now; I actually have people that might read them. XD

With finals done, I am free of the system for a good few months and will attempt to get some stuff done! Gotta sort my priorities, of course, but I got big plans!

My to-do list looks like this:

-Edit old 2008 novel
-Finish pirate movie screenplay
-Write more short stories
-Edit older short stories
-Work on short film projects
-Work on the Secret of Monkey Island radio play (more info on this soon!)
-Work on Haunted Mansion story, time permitting
-Spend copious amounts of time with girlfriend
-Repeat the above
-Play Mass Effect
-Play Minecraft
-Throw out old college notes
-Go to Disney World
-Be awesome all the time

So I'm gonna be busy...Ahem...But it shall be glorious!

So I haven't been doing much lately, apart from putting up older entries and such. I'm glad to see I've already gotten a lot of feedback, watchers and favorites, so I just want to say first off that you people have my thanks.

Mainly, though, I wish I could be going around doing the same for everyone else. But alas; the same forces of five English classes and a constant stream of writing homework (and not a lot of it fun writing either) has left me drained and agitated, and I simply don't have the free time nor the energy to muster. I certainly hope college is worth the copious amounts of effort I've put into it, because this is starting to feel like legitimate drudgery work and I'm only six weeks into the semester.

Whenever summer rolls around, I'll try and do some proper catching up and doing some writing as well as reading and critiquing of other people's work. Until then...

Well, wish me luck, okay? I'm gonna need it.

So...Here I am!

Not by intention, of course. A friend of mine has taken the, er, "liberty" of setting me up an account, urging me to start posting my stories. This wasn't my idea: blame We're old comrades in the fiction department.

So now, now that the gray and shiny expanses of dA are staring me in the faxe, I have no choice but to start filling the void with my words. And I have a fair amount of those...but, admittedly, I am a smidge shy about the whole thing. Hopefully I can get past this and simple let go; see where my little word-babies toddle in this vastness.

OK, that was weird, I admit. Regardless, off I go!
